Cataldo, Idaho

On the banks of the Coeur d’Alene River we find this hidden gem in Cataldo Idaho near the Cataldo Mission. There you can find a secluded public dock with trails throughout the pampas grass. Farragut State Park

This 4,000 acre State Park dates back to 1942 and is historically Idaho’s largest city at time. Now it is home to one of the largest state parks in Idaho and offers TRULY everything you could possibly desire. There are acres of field with mountainous views, Ponderay Lake that gives you chills while standing on its rocky shore, dense forest trails, and wild flowers in the Spring. Make sure to grab a State Parks pass early or you can purchase a daily pass at the visitors center once you enter the park.
