Its the season for proposals, which means those young Loves are looking for engagement session locations! So I just thought I would put together some of my favorite locations to explore that are all under 90 minutes of drive time from Post Falls, ID. Enjoy!
#1. Woops
Coffee shop sessions are definitely a growing trend especially when they can be in the most photographed Woops in the entire country! That’s right! Woops, the one we have right here in Coeur d’ Alene is the most photographed shop and we have it all to ourselves! Go get your snuggle on while eating 1… 2... no 3 macarons!
#2. Hog Lake Recreation Area
No one can deny that an open field with rolling hills in the background is one of the most gorgeous settings! Hog Lake Recreation is everything and more if you are up for running with your Love and popping some champagne to celebrate you two and your future together! Just be sure you pack out what you pack in!
#3. Snow Creek Falls
Woods & Waterfalls are always a favorite of mine and even more so when they are under a mile hike down a well cared for path. If you don’t mind the road trip to this gorgeous spot you will not be disappointed with the waterfall and pool at the bottom. Just remember to bring a pair of shoes to hike in and a towel if you are brave enough to jump in.
#4. Green Bluff & Surrounding Farms
This particular session was taken at Becks Harvest House in Colbert, WA. The best time to visit one of the Green Bluff farms to avoid thousands of people is during the week. If you can plan it on a day that is expectant to be rainy or overcast you can probably get away with being the only people there like we did.
